Telecommunications

The world-wide market for wireless data and video services is exploding. Consumers outside the U.S. have proven to be earlier adopters of new technologies and services. Global markets, and Asia Pacific in particular, cannot be ignored by growing U.S. companies offering wireless solutions.

San Diego is America’s Telecom Valley, home to QUALCOMM, Kyocera Wireless, and the birthplace of JABRA Corporation and dozens of other start-ups destined to impact our industry and our behavior as consumers. San Diego also hosts engineering facilities for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, Texas Instruments and INTEL. Alliance International has relationships with carriers, distributors and agents throughout Asia Pacific. We developed and managed Asia Pacific sales channels for JABRA, maker of the ubiquitous JABRA hands-free Earset, recruiting partners such as SmarTone (Hong Kong), NTT Docomo Engineering, Systex Corp (Taiwan), CellStar Asia, BrightPoint China, Samsung, Piltel, Marubeni Thailand and others. We are actively involved with CTIA, having attended the “Smart Phone Summit” in San Francisco in October 2004 and you’ll find us at the 3G World Congress in Hong Kong in November.

Representing a range of telecommunications products provides synergy to our clients (and to the carriers and resellers who purchase our clients' products). It allows Alliance International to efficiently manage distribution channels— which are often shared by different clients— with substantial savings for our customers. We provide instant access to telecommunication distribution channels for companies that wish to enter Asia Pacific markets cost effectively.

Representative Clients:
  • JABRA Corporation, maker of the unique hands-free Earset™ for mobile phones and cordless phones that allows you to comfortably "talk with your ear" without holding the phone to your head. We managed JABRA'S sales in Asia Pacific from 1997-2001.

In August, 2000 JABRA merged with GN Netcom, Inc. a world-leader in hands-free communications technologies, especially for traditional headsets for call centers. GN Netcom is part of GN Great Nordic, a Denmark based group of technology companies with over $1 billion in annual sales. JABRA operates as a strategic business unit within the GN Netcom Group, focusing on mobile hands-free products for carriers, distributors, OEMs and major electronic retailers such as RadioShack, BestBuy, and Circuit City.
Please call us at (858) 558-2030 if you would like to purchase a JABRA Earset or e-mail info@alliance-intl.com
