iV-200E Intelligent Vision Document Camera and Scanner

The Intelligent Vision (iV-200E) document camera & scanner from AVIO truly lives up to its name. This AVIO product is "camera only" without a projector built-in. As such, it is ideal for use in venues where the projector is ceiling mounted. Because the camera features 2-million pixels, it does an excellent job of displaying (or scanning) documents clearly. And it is simple to use -- just place the document or transparency on the platen -- you never need to focus. Even small typefonts can be easily read when projecting a full page document. Not just documents, transparencies, newspaper clippings & magazines, but the optics of the iV-200 do an excellent job displaying and capturing images of 3-D objects.

Images shown with the iV-200E may be captured and then saved to a computer using a USB cable. In this sense, the unit also functions as a scanner (up to 40 color images may be transferred to the computer in a matter of seconds). After an image has been saved to the computer, it may be edited using the simple annotation software tools (iP Viewer Software) that automatically download to the computer when the USB cable is connected.

The 2-million pixel camera images generated by the iV-200 are crispy clear. As such, the AVIO iV-200, a new concept in document camera input devices, should be given serious consideration as an alternative "document camera" for integrated meeting rooms and lecture halls where the projector is ceiling mounted.
