The DC-17 incorporates a 17" electromagnetic LCD screen that allows you to control your computer with an electronic pen. With the pen you can touch the LCD screen to launch and control applications, capture images from any computer program, annotate, save and retrieve your work. You can even annotate of moving video images. Use Digital Class with any data projector as an electronic whiteboard for writing and saving notes. - Monitor is Pressure Sensitive giving the paint brush tool and highlighter amazing touch sensitive capability. Advanced Line Rendering Technology so that all lines are instantly smooth without any jaggies.
- Includes built-in tilting stand allowing users to write comfortably at different angles with monitor remaining steady.
- 17" screen, 1280 x 1024 resolution with 512 levels of pressure sensitivity so that computer images and icons can be viewed clearly.
- Includes several templates: whiteboard, blackboard, writing paper, graph paper, music staff. You can even create your own templates.
- Built-in speakers in monitor bezel.
- Annotate over any PC application, such as Power Point, websites, spread sheets.
- Can be intergrated as a touch screen control panel with Windows based control systems from Crestron, AMX, Vity, etc.
- Uses normal size pen with “right click” mouse function and "double left click" mouse functions. Six user definable pen colors, three widths and three modes (pen, brush & highlight). Pen uses standard AAA battery.
- Annotate over video images played with the Windows Media Player or REAL Player on a Windows XP computer.
- LCD protected by scratch resistant glass which lets more light through and results in brighter images.
- Wireless pen is not tethered to the monitor giving you the choice of using the pen freely, or attaching it yourself.
- Export annotated pages in BMP & JPEG format.

The lectern (left) uses 3 monitors: one for the computer, one for a competing drawing tablet, one for touch screen control. With Digital Class, all this can be accomplished with only one monitor (right).
